Allyson Felix

Allyson Michel Felix was born on the 18th of November 1985, in Los Angeles. She was the daughter of Paul Felix was an ordained minister at the Master's Seminary in Sun Valley as well as the mother of her child Marlean Felix was a school teacher at Balboa Magnet Elementary School. Felix's talent for athletics was evident right from the day she began attending Los Angeles Baptist High School. Just 10 weeks after her first attempt, she finished in second place in the 200 meter event during the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championship. Felix has graduated from high school in 2003, signed the sports contract with Adidas. Then she attended at the University of Southern California and completed her studies in elementary education. The following year, Felix was awarded the first Olympic medal during the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens Greece breaking an all-time junior world record taking 200 metres within 22.18 seconds. The year 2005 was the time she was the youngest 200-meter world champion during the Helsinki World Championships. She was able to defend her title in 2007 beating her long-time Jamaican competitor Veronica Campbell. Felix took part in the Olympics in Beijing London Rio de Janeiro as well as Tokyo always finishing in the top three of her races.
