Julie Anne Smith, A.K.A. Julianne Moor is an Hollywood actor and writer who has received critical recognition for her talent. She's a Sagittarius born on December 3, 1960, in North Carolina. She is the oldest child of Peter Moore Smith a paratrooper and Anne who is a psychology student. She's of Scottish-English descent. Her father was a professional who often moved her family. She had a difficult time making or maintaining acquaintances. Moore started acting in play when she moved with her family to Germany. It was at Boston University is where Moore finished her education, earning the B.F.A. in 1983. Thesis in Theater. Moore moved to New York after graduating and began her career in off-Broadway theatre. In 1985, she made her debut on screen in The Edge of Night. It was this role that gave her the opportunity to break through and resulted in her successful career. In 1988, she was a part-time actor in the show, and won an Daytime Emmy Award. Her first cinematic appearance was in Tales from the Darkside: The Movie. This film she later described as a bad low-budget production. Short Cuts (1993), 3 Women (1997), as well as 3 Women (1997), were both directed by Robert Altman. She received several nominations and was praised for the first film. Moore's first leading role was in Safe (1995). In 2007, she published Freckleface Strawberry, which became a New York Times bestseller. The book became a best bestseller, and then was adapted to a television series and musical. Moore also published My Mom is Foreigner in 2013, a memoir in 2013. Moore's private life has been made public as a highly accomplished author and actor. Moore was married to John Robin back in 1984, and the couple divorced in the year 1996. Bart Freundlich, whom Moore was later married in 2003 has two children with her. Moore is an individual who is devoted to her career and family.
